The School of Business and Public Policy (SBPP) at the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG) continues to receive positive feedback from students for its modern facilities and conducive learning environment. Known for being one of the most well-furnished and functional schools on campus, SBPP has become a favorite spot for many students to not only study but also relax after classes.

Mr. Jonathan Namenmor, a third-year student majoring in Strategic Management, shared his thoughts on the school’s facilities. “I really appreciate the facilities here because they are very standardized and well-furnished. That’s why sometimes I hang out at the school after class just to relax and go through my work,” he said.

In addition to the physical infrastructure, Mr. Namenmor praised the quality of the courses offered. "The courses are exceptional, and I would encourage anyone interested in business to come and study at SBPP,” he added. However, he also noted that the school’s focus leans more towards content delivery rather than practical exposure.

He expressed a desire for the school to bring in more guest speakers from the business industry to provide students with real-world insights. “We don’t have many guests from outside the university coming in to speak to us, and I hope the school can make changes to improve that. But apart from that, the school is very standardized,” he said.

As SBPP continues to uphold its reputation for high academic standards and modern facilities, students like Jonathan Namenmor hope to see more industry engagement to complement their education with practical business experience.
